God cares for you!

“Having cast all your care upon him, for he cares about you” (1 Peter 5:7)

God knows you better than you know yourself. He knows your whole path through life - every single detail. That is why He knows best what is really good for you. He has known for a long time that you would be in the situation you are in right now. And He also knows what you need in this situation.

David once said in Psalm 142: “ When my spirit faints within me, you know my way!” (Ps 142:3). This also applies to you. God has a path for you to walk on. A way on which He is by your side.

God is so great and at the same time so close. In Psalm 147 we read that He counts the number of the stars and calls them all by name. And shortly after, we are told that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. He also knows the best bandage that your soul needs so that old wounds can heal.

So don’t forget: God is interested in you personally. He knows what you need. And He cares for you.
