God carries you through!
God carries you through. No matter what happens in your life, you should always know that God will carry you until you have reached the goal. To help us realize this, the Lord has given us wonderful images in the Bible that show us this great truth.
Aaron, the high priest, was to bear the names of the Israelites on his shoulder and on his heart when he was in the presence of the Lord. In this he is an image of Christ, our great High Priest, who entered heaven to appear now in the presence of God on our behalf (Heb. 9:24).
The shoulder speaks of the sustaining power of God. Moses once said, "the LORD your God carried you, as a man carries his son, all the way that you went" (Deut. 1:31). And this is true for us as well. We are preserved every day by God's power through faith unto salvation - as Peter writes! (1 Pet 1:5).
Moreover, the Lord Jesus carries us permanently on His loving heart. There is nothing and no one who can separate us from the love of Christ. He loved His disciples until the end - and He loves you too until you reach the goal.
