The secret of effectual service

„Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted“ (Heb 12:3)

Occupation is the secret of reproduction. The photograph prints from the negative only so long as it is exposed to the light. It is in the passive, restful abiding in Him, that the secret of effectual service - the bringing forth of much fruit-will be found.

“And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.” (2 Cor 3:18)
