How Christ feels with you!

“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.” (Heb 4:16)

There is one man who understands you 100 percent. A man who thinks about you and has genuine compassion for you. And that is Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He is your High Priest in heaven at the right hand of God.

He understands you because of His own experience here on earth. If you are lonely, remember that He knows what that feels like. For no one was as lonely as He was on the cross - abandoned by God and man.

If you feel misunderstood by people close to you, remember that Jesus was often misunderstood by His own family and by His disciples.

Perhaps you long for compassion and for someone to comfort you. The Lord knows this. In Psalm 69, He says prophetically: “ I looked for pity, but there was none, and for comforters, but I found none” (Ps 69:20).

Jesus has made Himself so one with the needs of people that it is said of Him: “He took our illnesses and bore our diseases.” (Mt 8:17).

He knows what you are going through. And He feels with you!
